CHRISTINE BUTLER OBITUARY Butler, Christine A. (Franko), Our beloved "Sissy", cherised wife, mother and aunt, died Monday, November 1, 2010. She was born August 31, 1953 in Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Robert W. Butler and Carol F. Butler. She grew up in Wichita, Kansas and after graduating from high school, moved to Washington, DC where she worked for the Department of Education, put herself through college and met her future husband. She returned to Wichita and continued to reside with her family until her death. She worked as a paralegal and office administrator for Triplett, Woolf & Garretson since 1987. As the matriarch of her large family, she was passionate about decorating, cooking and organizing parties for all the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, gathering those she loved together. She was also a charter member of the BBA. It goes without saying that all of her family and friends knew that her greatest accomplishment in life was her daughter Mary Carol. Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her husband James Franko and daughter Mary Carol; brothers, Patrick Butler (Beryl Silkey) of Wichita, KS, Tony Butler (Joann) of Wichita, KS, and Mark Butler of Wichita, KS; sisters, Becky Butler of Gaithersburg, MD, Gretchen Butler (Lin Meis) of Wichita, KS, Carolyn Baker of Wichita, KS, Ann Butler of Wichita, KS, and Margo Ramsey (Chuck Ramsey FBI). Dollaris also survived by her nieces, Alia Kottas, Dawn Bircher, Alexandra Ramsey, Gabrielle Ramsey, Molly Butler, Caroline Baker, Rachel Butler, Sarah Butler and Elizabeth Pham; nephews, Dustin Baker, Andy Baker, Jacob Baker, Ben Butler, Christopher Butler, Ian Finzoll, Robert Butler, and Chase Butler; great nephews Jacob Kottas and Jackson Bircher; great nieces Grace Kottas, Lucille Bircher and Charlotte Baker -- all of whom she loved deeply. She also leaves a host of many friends, relatives and co-workers whom she cherished and enjoyed throughout her personal and business life. She will be missed. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to Meals-on-Wheels, 200 South Walnut, Wichita, KS 67213 and to the James Sprague Children's Education Fund, 8220 East Oxford,Wichita, KS 67226.
