Steven Craig Littchum

Steven Craig Littchum, 60, was called to Heaven at 12:10 a.m. Dec. 9, 2013. Steve was born Sept. 24, 1953, in Wichita, Kan., to Maurice Littchum and Juanita Paxson-Littchum. Steve and his family moved to Joplin in 1992, where he worked as a machinist at JK Machining then as a custodian at Memorial Middle School before retiring due to ill health in 2008. He also served with the Navy as a Navy Seal in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He also served with the Navy as a Navy Seal in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He married Beverly Moratto-Littchum on Dec. 28, 1975, and they were married 33 years. He has two surviving children, Allison Littchum-Patton, 36 and Aaron Littchum, 33; He was also a proud "Pepa" to grandson, Steven Aaron Michael Littchum, "Sam", age 9; He also is survived by his beloved sister, Sandra Littchum-Feindel, husband, Michael Feindel; niece, Ellie Feindel; nephew, Dusty Seifert; and many more family and friends that love and miss him immensely. Final arrangements have been made with Midland Cremation Society, Joplin, Mo. Memorial Services will be held in Argonia, Kan., in the spring of 2014. Condolences can be mailed to the family at P.O.
